Part 4 怎麼計分
與聽力其他部分一樣由電腦計分,答對一題得一分,答錯不扣分。Part 4 佔 38 題計分題中的 5 題,也是後半較難部分的開端,從這裡開始題目改為螢幕顯示,不再唸出。
逐題計點
每個下拉選單非對即錯,留空等於零分。猜錯不會扣分,所以共用倒數結束前,務必確保每個選單都選了答案。
38 題換一個 Level
Part 4 沒有獨立分數,它的分數併入聽力 38 題的總分,換算成 CELPIP Level 1 到 12,並按不同場次的難度校準。
CELPIP Level 等於 CLB
對照是一比一,CELPIP 9 等於 CLB 9。難度從 Part 1 遞增到 Part 6,Part 4 已過中段,在這裡守住正確率,正是 Level 8 與 Level 9 的分水嶺。

你唯一的預習是螢幕上的一句話,例如 You will hear a news item about a community project。題目在音檔播完前一直隱藏,所以趁這幾秒鐘搭好筆記框架:who、what、when、where、why,再留一欄記名字、一欄記數字。
接住導語,再跟上脈絡約 1.5 分鐘
新聞把結果放在頭一兩句,第 1 題通常正是考這裡。之後跟著脈絡走:背景、帶時間標記的事件經過、一位被引述的聲音、故事怎麼收尾。記下姓氏,報導先用全名,之後只用姓。

音檔播完,5 題補句連同約 3 分鐘的共用倒數一起出現。先掃一遍全部題幹,它們跟著音檔順序走,然後先答有把握的。順序隨意,倒數結束前答案都可以改。
選改寫句,填滿每個選單共用倒數結束前
正確的補句會改寫音檔內容,原句照搬的選項要起疑;沒講過的細節,再合理也要否決。倒數歸零考試就永久前進,所以不要留下任何一個空選單。

會丟分的錯誤
熱身時錯過導語General Meaning
新聞把主要結果放在開場第一句,很多考生這時還沒進入狀態。第 1 題通常掛在導語上,所以從第一個字開始就要全神貫注。
相信照搬原句的選項Paraphrase
正確補句是意思改寫,從不逐字重複。用音檔原句拼出來的選項,多半是披著新聞外衣的干擾項。
混淆播報員與被引述者Speaker Attribution
新聞多半會引述一個人,專家或當事人,而題目專考誰說過什麼。把姓氏記在觀點旁邊,以名字開頭的題幹,沒有筆記根本答不了。
中了重組細節的陷阱Specific Information
干擾項會把音檔裡真實的名字、數字、地點重新組合成沒講過的說法。細節要對得上你的筆記才算對,單靠詞彙眼熟不算。
一題難題燒光時鐘Time Management
5 題共用約 3 分鐘。一題頑固題目吃掉一分鐘,其他題就要挨餓,所以先收下有把握的,回頭再戰,別讓倒數抓到空選單。

新聞題的筆記該怎麼記?
5W 框架最好用:who、what、when、where、why,再加一欄名字、一欄數字。姓氏、日期、金額邊聽邊記,條列式加縮寫。題目跟著音檔順序出,整齊的直欄筆記本身就是答案地圖。
