CELPIP login and sign up, step by step
Your CELPIP Account is where you book the test, see your scores and download your Official Score Report. Here is where the real login page is, how to create an account, and what to do when you cannot get in.
CELPcore is an independent practice site and is not affiliated with CELPIP, Paragon Testing Enterprises or Prometric. Both buttons open the official site in a new tab. We never ask for your CELPIP Account password.
Part 1
How to sign up for a CELPIP Account
It takes about two minutes and costs nothing. You need an account before you can book a test, and it is worth opening one early for the two free official practice tests.

Open the official sign up page
Go to celpip.ca and choose Sign In at the top of the page, then switch to the Sign up tab. You can also use the direct link below.

Enter your email and choose a password
The form asks for three things: Email, Password and Confirm Password. A strength meter under the password field tells you when the password is strong enough. Use an email you will still have in two years, because your scores are tied to it.

Tick the consent boxes
Four boxes are required: personal data processing, biometric data for identity checks, data storage in Canada, and the Terms and Conditions. The fifth box, marketing emails, is optional.

Pass the human check and select Sign Up
Complete the captcha, select Sign Up, and you are in. No payment is needed to open an account. You only pay when you book a test or buy study materials.
Part 2
How to log in
Many sites rank for CELPIP login, and most of them are practice sites with their own accounts. Only the official account can book a test or show real scores.

Start from celpip.ca
Select Sign In at the top right of the official site. Typing the address yourself is safer than following a link from an ad or an email.

Check the address bar
The sign in page loads on celpip-registration.paragontesting.ca. That is expected. Paragon Testing Enterprises runs CELPIP and is part of Prometric, so both names appear on the page.

Enter your email and password
Use the same email you signed up with, then select Sign In. Your dashboard shows upcoming tests, scores and purchases.

Forgot your password

On the sign in page, select Forgot your password?

Enter the email address linked to your CELPIP Account and select Reset Password.

Open the email from CELPIP and follow the link to create a new password. Check your junk folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.

Inside the account
After you sign in
The tasks people most often sign in for, and the rules that catch them out.
- Book a test
- Select Find a Test Date, pick the test type, country, city and session, then enter your details and ID. Your name, date of birth and ID number must match the ID you bring on test day exactly. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
- Finish a pending payment
- If you were not asked to pay, the registration stays pending. Sign in within 24 hours, select Checkout next to the registration, then Place order.
- Move or cancel a booking
- Under Upcoming test, open Actions. Transfers are allowed up to 7 days before the session. The first transfer is free and later ones cost CAD 50 plus tax. Cancelling at least 7 days ahead returns 50% of the fee.
- Get your scores
- Scores appear in your account 2 to 4 business days after the test, and you get an email when they are ready. Select Check Scores to download the Official Score Report as a PDF. Paper reports are no longer issued.
- Ask for a re-evaluation
- You can request one within six months of the test date, once per component. The fee for a component is refunded if its level changes. Listening and Reading are computer rated, so a change there is unlikely.
- Report a test day issue
- Under your registration, open Actions and select Report a Test Day Issue. This must be done within 24 hours of the test.

When it does not work
Common login problems
The page says my email or password is wrong
Check for a typo in the email first, then reset the password. If you have more than one email, try the one that received your test confirmation.
I am not sure I ever made an account
Try the password reset with each email you use. If a reset email arrives, the account exists. If you booked through an agent, ask which email they used.
The reset email never arrives
Look in junk and promotions folders and wait a few minutes before requesting another one. Work and school mail filters block these emails more often than personal mailboxes do.
The page will not load or keeps spinning
Use a desktop or laptop with a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari, and try a second browser. Most official online products are not built for phones. Turning off ad blockers helps with the captcha.
I need to change my name or ID details
This cannot be done from the account page. Email the CELPIP office at least 7 days before your test, because details that do not match your ID can get you turned away on test day.
